Kenmore Air - Lake Union, Seattle

Shortly after World War II, friends Bob Munro, Reg Collins, and Jack Mines came together to form their own Air Force—albeit one with only a lone seaplane in a single hangar. That was in 1946, though. Today, Kenmore Air's fleet is 25 aircraft and 52 pilots strong, flying swiftly and smoothly between more than 45 destinations and 100 charter locations. Among the possible trips, fly from Seattle's Lake Union or Boeing Field Seattle to the San Juan Islands, fly between Lake Union and Victoria's Inner Harbour in just 45 minutes or go on an exciting whale watching daytrip from Seattle to the San Juans.

But flying isn't only a way to get somewhere. It's also a spectacle in itself. To share the inspiration of flight with passengers, Kenmore Air's seaplanes also fly over Seattle on scenic tours with spectacular aerial views of downtown, Lake Union's houseboat communities, and much more.
