They offer you a package for full highlights for say 150$. This includes cut/ dry etc. then they start trying to sell a treatment called gloss for another 50$. Then while you want to just rest/ keep quiet, they stay selling other products to you. At the end of the day, if you can say a vehement no, you will be fine. Plus- their treatments were harsh on my already dry hair. I am not going back.

I was on the fence about trying this groupon for months. I finally tried it and the Salon is sleek and stylish as pictured. I got an appointment the same day, which was the tipping point for my decision (although they need your Groupon Number to book the appointment). The receptionist was very friendly and courteous and ended up washing my foils out. She gave a nice little scalp massage while washing. My stylist, Liliya, was running a little behind, but they offered me tea/water/coffee and got me situation in a stylist chair. Overall my cut and style were awesome, the color was spot on, the foil technique was pretty good, I think it could have been closer to the roots/scalp. To my unprofessional eye, it looks like it has already grown out for about 2 weeks, however I have received several compliments on my hair. I think this could be resolved by asking for it to be tight to the scalp. My only complaint is that my stylist immediately tried to talk me into the baylayage technique instead of traditional foil highlights. I probably would have tried it, but I don't like that they are promoting Groupons for traditional highlights and then immediately offering a more expensive technique. Aluna should offer a Groupon for their preferred technique-I would have bought that. I also heard another stylists telling the client he doesn't even offer foil highlights, which made me apprehensive about going with my original order of foil highlights. I had Liliya Grigoryeva and I would go back to her.

Kristin was so so nice and did such a good job with my partial highlights and haircut! Her work added a lot more dimension to my hair. I was the last appointment on a Saturday evening, so I was so grateful for her staying later than all of her other coworkers. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair since going! I would definitely go back. Thank you, Kristin!

My stylist was unfriendly and never made small talk except trying to convince me to buy product. She was taken back when I told her I used drugstore shampoo/conditioner. She then continued on for the entire haircut telling me how damaged my hair was (my colorist tells me I have healthy hair for a blonde). Very rude. Also I gave her a tip and she was unappreciated. She did a good job with the cut

I had higher expectations but it was okay! I wanted highlights and haircut so I bought the deal for $119, when I went to the salon, there were additional fees, like the balayage and gloss which was $65 more. I said no to the balayage but I got sucked into getting the gloss. So it's not as cheap as I had thought. The hair stylist did say the balayage was complimentary but it looked like highlights.
