This is the realm of Mica Moon Zip Tours, who've brought to Liberty Lake the sport that sprouted to life in the Costa Rican rainforest. Here's what your tour might entail.

The Tour

As the UTVs rumble upwards, guests get their first glimpse of Mica Peak and its stately aspens and mountain stream. A short orientation and two practice zips start off the tour before riders make their way up to the treetop course.

Over the course of 2.5 hours, trained guides escort riders on a picturesque tour of the forest, all from a vantage point normally reserved for soaring birds or flightless birds having out-of-body experiences. From above, you might steal a glance at elk traipsing through the trees or hawks diving towards prey. Besides an ecological tour, this is a historical one too, as guides point out the camps where moonshine was brewed during Prohibition.
