Good service, Justin, good cheese plate and good wine!
Very pleasant. Sat outside on the patio.
Great, friendly service, good table set up for group happy hours and appetizers. Thanks, we had a really nice time Saturday afternoon.
Poor service, slow kitchen, poor quality of food
Friendly servers. Alex, Justin, Calvin & our server that also works at rip curl were great! They completed the overall relaxing & sophisticated experience! Definately a date night or relaxing wine/martini cheese&apps. salad/dinner place to go. Good music & creative cappucino cup chandelier (that should be part of the service experience) create a very modern & eclectic atmosphere!!
When the waiter saw this was a Groupon his attitude was something less than pleasant
The restaurant needs a little sprucing up. The chairs are looking a little worn. You might want to keep the glass clean in the fake fireplace and remove the boxes of wine by the bathrooms. The service was very good. The food was very good.
The whole service staff is on par & delightful experience while dining.
From Our Editors
From their perch on a dining table, Blu Orkid’s eponymous flowers watch over the restaurant’s hustle and bustle, which begins as bakers knead fresh bread in the early morning and ends once dinner plates are rounded up after midnight. Breakfasts of frittatas and brioche french toast pique appetites for lunches and dinners of tuna-almondine sandwiches, pears poached in port and topped with bleu cheese, and salmon flavored with miso and meyer lemons. In the bakery, chefs torch sugar atop crème brûulée and serve chocolate lava cake. They dish out their gourmet treats at sunny patio tables or indoors amid palm fronds, blue mood lighting, and chandeliers that wish they could feel love.
