This Groupon was for full highlights only. I needed the Balayage Highlights which was not covered in this Groupon offer. I was told that Balayage Highlights would cost an extra $ 85 on top of the $50 groupon I had purchased when I was in the salon chair about to get started and I agreed to it anyways as I wanted the look and did not want to find another salon. My stylist was sweet and maybe under stress to finish it in a certain amount of time and she took 15 min approximately to apply the chemical to my hair with a brush - no foils. I was given a hair wash and conditioning treatment which basically is just conditioner applied to hair like you can do yourselves in the shower. I was given a very good blowout which looked nice for a couple of days and I got compliments too. But the real issue was that the highlights were so dull that they barely show in my hair. We discussed what would look good on my skin tone and since I am tan naturally the stylist suggested I shouldn't get blonde as I won't look good which I agreed to but I still wanted the balayage highlights as I requested through the examples of images I had saved on my phone. Well so in the end, I have spent nearly $ 150 and my hair pretty much looks the same as before and I am not at all satisfied. Maybe it was a communication issue but it is the stylist's responsibility to know what the client is looking for exactly and making sure beforehand what is the difference between different highlights and what is the groupon going to offer. I felt that this Groupon is just a way to get your foot in the door before we really know the cost and the end result is not that great. Since I don't do such treatments frequently, I have an expectation that a hair treatment should last at least 6 months which was not the case this time. The stylist had a good and friendly attitude, maybe was not relaxed enough to give good service and I would not recommend this place.

Refused to let me use Groupon for face value. Let me use it for a haircut only. Worst salon experience ever.

I had to pay an extra $100+ because they said the Groupon only covered the cut even though it was for a cut and partial highlight. I walked out of there paying close to $200. To top it off the woman sitting beside me getting her hair done said to her her stylist, "people with these Groupon's they want everything for free if you can't pay don't come here." I was so hurt on top of being blindside by the up charge. I would never go back.
