About Chanello's Pizza

The original Chanello's Pizza first delivered pizzas to hungry soldiers at Norfolk Naval Base in 1987. It has since grown to 40 locations throughout Virginia and North Carolina, and each one slings the hand-tossed pizzas and cheese bread that made it so popular.

Pizzas range from chicken bacon bbq to Alexander the Greek and traditional pizzas like supreme or meat lovers . Gluten-free crusts are now available, too.

And Chanello’s still serves up pizzas to that original airbase, welcoming servicemen and women home with free pizza for them and their families.

Great location, amazing staff and good food! Never had a problem with this Chanello’s and the staff is always very friendly and aim to please. The pizza is timely and made to order. Love this place!

Pizza just does not impress. Dough & Sauce... meh. Toppings minimal and skimpy. Cookie hard as a rock. We joked we could drive nails with it. The highlight was the cheese bread, which was very good, fresh, cheesy.

They were nice and quick. It was a very good crust and one of the better cheese breads I’ve had in a good while.
