San Antonio Guide

On any given day, a San Antonio guide will have a wide array of events and activities to enjoy, from shopping to music, art, nightclubs, and sports. And many of these activities combine the city’s multicultural past with a hip, new twist. The River Walk area may be one of the most “San Antonio” things to do in the city. A concept begun way back in the 1930s, the River Walk is a colorful, lush, tree-lined promenade to enjoy the city at a leisurely pace.  It’s where San Antonians from all walks of life cross paths and mingle in the many restaurants, bars and cafes along the water. Away from the River Walk, the local art scene continues to be a driving force behind the rejuvenation of many San Antonio neighborhoods. Places such as The Blue Star Contemporary Art Center, the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, and the Carver Community Cultural Center have brought others into their communities and also sent many new local artist out into the world. Annual events that keep San Antonians busy year round include the Culinaria Wine and Arts Festival and Summer Art and Jazz Festival, the Stock Show and Rodeo, Fiesta San Antonio and the Texas Folklife Festival. Other free or less expensive street parties are great San Antonio deals as well. Meanwhile, the more athletically inclined also have no trouble finding things to do in San Antonio, with jogging paths, hiking trails and river rafting opportunities all around. Don’t forget the classic favorites like the San Antonio Zoo, Sea World, and the Hill Country tours for a local day of fun. In addition, the NBA’s Spurs seem to always provide the city with an exciting season of basketball. Let the city’s history, both old and new, be a guide to San Antonio and its many opportunities for fun and excitement.

$61 for 4 people to bowl 2 hours + includes free shoe rental
The Place is a nice environment. The bowling is great. My family loved it. However the food there is awful. I paid for frozen pizza, and tasteless burnt wings. All that for $70.00. Fresh food may take longer but would be worth it,
