Whiskey-marinated steaks, cedar-salmon pasta & smothered chicken mingle with microbrews & eclectic wines in elegant, casual dining room

Topping the food chain is a tremendous achievement, which is why humans triumphantly plant flag-like toothpicks in burgers and belt the national anthem at their steaks before devouring them. Enjoy life at the top with today's Groupon to Abraham's Bar & Grille in Rochelle. Choose from the following options:

For $44, you get dinner for two (up to an $89.80 total value), which includes:

  • Two appetizers (up to a $13.95 value each)
  • Two entrees (up to a $22.95 value each)
  • Two glasses of wine, microbrew beers, or non-alcoholic drinks (up to an $8 value each)

For $75, you get dinner for four (up to a $151.70 total value), which includes:

  • Two appetizers (up to a $13.95 value each)
  • Four entrees (up to a $22.95 value each)
  • Four glasses of wine, microbrew beers, or non-alcoholic drinks (up to an $8 value each)

  • For $15, you get $30 worth of anything off the menu. Steaks and pasta bowls are $11.95–$22.95.

  • At Abraham's Bar & Grille, a golden log-lined, ivy-bedecked hallway leads to an elegant yet casual dining room, where visitors dine on steaks, pasta, and sandwiches. Warm up incisors with potato-wrapped shrimp, which bear shields of starchy strings to protect themselves from overeager chili-garlic sauce and fingers deemed too soft to hold them. Hearty steaks, such as 12-ounce sirloin and 14-ounce ribeye, duel knives in their birthday suits or armored in a marinade of Jack Daniels or Southern Comfort. The cedar-salmon pasta positions cedar-grilled fish atop angel-hair pasta and under a white-wine-lemon-butter sauce, whereas smothered chicken conceals its secret identity from mere mortals under monterey jack cheese and vegetables. Between bites, diners can voyage to the eatery's new wine room to sniff, swirl, and sip Washington Hills riesling and Gancia moscato or opt to imbibe Two Brothers and Goose Island microbrews.

It was our 1st visit. The moment we entered the 2nd level, it felt very cozy, with the logs, the design of the bar and separate dining area. It was also not 'crazy loud' like so many bar/grills are these days. The Rib Eye steak dinner was very delicious, as well as tender. We would certainly drive 25 minutes again to dine there.

Good food and great service had the chicken wrap Caesar. The wrap was a huge portion with a huge pile of fried potato salad! I barely could eat all the wrap let alone the salad. I’ll be back soon.

We eat here often and love the food. Enjoy the specials they have for holidays and recently found out their burgers are outstanding. Who knew. Definitely recommend.
