Bikram Yoga Oceanside & Encinitas is now Just Hot Yoga & Pilates. We have expanded our classes to include Inferno Hot Pilates and Yin Yoga, so whether you're looking for hot Bikram yoga, a challenging full body HIIT workout, or the deep tissue release of Yin, we have something for everyone.
Our hot yoga classes are still taught in the Bikram style, 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises done in 60 or 90 minute sessions. This class will help you develop strength as well as flexibility, and the heated room allows for a safer environment in which to stretch the muscles and detoxify the body.
Inferno Hot Pilates is an innovative new workout combining core-strengthening Pilates exercises with High Intensity Interval Training. It is a 60 minute class targeting each major muscle group and it has challenged even the fittest members of our studio! Many of our students have found this class worthy of replacing gym memberships and personal trainers, and it provides a perfect compliment to yoga practice. Come and try this exciting new class that is taking over hot yoga studios everywhere.
And to balance out the 'yang' of our Hot Yoga and Pilates classes, our deeply relaxing and soothing Yin yoga class is an opportunity to have more control over your yoga practice. Poses are done primarily on the floor and held for up to 5 minutes, to allow the joints and fascia tissues of the body to stretch. This can be a tremendous benefit to anyone who experiences chronic tightness in the hips, lower back, hamstrings, etc. The focus of this class is on exploring each pose to find the best position where you feel that relief-giving stretch, so that you can take that awareness of the poses that work best for you and use them more in your daily routine.
