About Austin Performance Fitness
To strength coach Jon Chacon, the first order of business with any client is building a sturdy foundation of strength. His strength boot camp incorporates both strength training and conditioning with bursts of high-intensity exercise. Pared-down workouts in a spartan facility use tools, such as kettlebells, barbells, and sleds, that emphasize agility and functional strength—values familiar to Chacon, whose experience ranges from commercial fishing to the Marine Corps. He also guides clients with nutrition and supplement guidelines, as well as monthly weight and body fat measurements.
