    Kids aged 4–10 tint frosting for a cupcake or giant cookie and are provided with additional toppings to finish the decorating. They also squeeze lemons for lemonade and snack on s'mores pop-ups they made in class. Classes take place every Thursday in March for one hour, beginning at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

As they whip up pizza, cupcakes, mac and cheese, and quesadillas, kids may not realize that they’re learning vocabulary, kitchen etiquette, skills, and hand-eye coordination. Tirone knows that adults may enjoy a lesson or two as well, so Chef It Up also hosts nights-in classes for grownups that cover cake decorating and mozzarella making, among other topics. All dishes are made using peanut- and tree-nut-free ingredients.
