Movers were good, but very late for appointment.

These guys aren't great. Their truck broke down, I had to wait an extra day to move and the guy only gave me a free half hour of service. If you have a small studio and don't really care moving service quality then this is great for the price. Also, they refused to move my king size bed which was one of the only things i needed them to move.

If your going to be using the Groupon for this company realize to them "your not a paying customer." They were persistent on reminding me of that every time I spoke with them. For the initial contact with this moving company we were informed that we will not be able to move on a weekend. That was not a problem for me in the beginning as I realize that not all scheduling is open to Groupon user. I was informed this was only because I was a Groupon user and they wanted their "paying" customers to have the weekend. 2 days prior to the move we were informed by the owner, that they wouldn't be able to lift anything over 100 lbs, that they wouldn't move things to our rooms, and that they will only be able to afford to get a 10 ft truck. I had already informed then 2 weeks before that I have a 2 bedroom duplex with an upstairs and downstairs. He let me know that it was because I used a Groupon that they couldn't afford to send us anything bigger and that his insurance didn't cover his ability to move items to the rooms. He then proceeded to ask if I would instead like to cancel with them and go with someone else. At that short notice and when I had informed them of this move on Oct. 12th there wasn't enough time to reschedule and reorganize for this move. I then stated I will get my own truck and I had that ready at an additional cost through U-haul. The very next morning I was contacted again by text if they could make a request of us. I was informed that a "paying customer" wanted to have their items moved during my scheduled appointment that I made 2 weeks prior, and if I could move my appointment down to 5 pm. I declined. I was then requested to move my time down from 8 am to 9 am. No explanation was given as to why that was but I did try my best to be flexible. The morning of the move at 8:32 am, I was called and asked for my address that I had informed the company of 2 weeks prior and then asked "What is the best way to get there from Raytown." Mind you I am in North KC. At this point I have reached my max with this company. The movers arrived a few minutes late, moved the items into the truck I purchased and then brought the items to the new home. They left everything within my garage except for my kitchen table, nook, T.V. stand, couch, and recliner these few items were the only things moved into the correct rooms. When given a tip that reflected the job done we were questioned on that as well. They gave no appreciation for our business or anything ever remotely close to good customer service. I purchased a 6 hr worth of a move from this company only to have used about 4 hrs of it. Now I am in the process of moving everything into my home in addition to unpacking. I will never use this company again and I'm very sorry that for a company as AWESOME as Groupon is, that this company seems to view the Groupon customers at such a low standard.

They were hard to reach and were a hour late, but the two gentlemen that came to provide the service were great. ..I had more issues with Groupon.

While they did do everything we asked, they were an hour late to show up. Then first thing they said was cancel the Groupon and pay us direct (according to them, they are only paid $7 from Groupon and the listing was all screwed up). We refused to cancel as I wasn't paying twice until my money was refunded. Then we were told they don't move boxes. None of this was what the Groupon we purchased said. As I said, they did do everything we asked after I got upset, but I definitely would not recommend using them through a Groupon.
