What You'll Get
Seasonal cuisine comes in many forms, from the ice-cream deluges of January to the hot dog-spewing thunderstorms of mid-July. Enjoy carefully harvested seasonal fare with today's Groupon to Cobblestone Bistro in Caledonia. Choose between the following options:
- For $20, you get $40 worth of seasonal fare and drinks.
- For $15, you get two brunches (a $30 value).
At Cobblestone Bistro, chef Eddie Sanders crafts an eclectic, seasonally rotating menu that makes the most of fresh ingredients available from Michigan’s local suppliers and growers. The menu ranges from inspired entrees ($12–$20) such as a Trotter steak, an 8-ounce sirloin lavished with blue cheese and yucca fries, and shrimp chili rellenos, shrimp- and cheese-filled poblano peppers with tomatillo sauce and black bean relish. Classic bistro sandwiches ($6–$10) offer choices such as The Italian, a combo of prosciutto, sopressata, romaine lettuce, green tomato, provolone cheese, and italian dressing on ciabatta bread, or the barbecue pulled-pork sandwich, cooked in a special Carolina barbecue sauce on a toasted kaiser roll.
Come Sunday, a delectable brunch spread is laid out from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., liberating workweek-shackled appetites with cheesy hash browns, an omelette station, a carving station, bacon, sausage, a select lunch entree, and more.
Cobblestone Bistro’s green- and white-clad exterior gives way to wide, curved windows that shed natural light on the dining room’s rich earth tones and rustic cobblestone walls, while the fountain wall and central fireplace offer an attractive solution to the eternal battle of elements.
