Like a job, an exercise routine often requires hard work, specialized attire, and the willingness to get out of bed more than once a week. Find your fitness schedule with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $19 for 6 Crossfit classes (a $72 value)
- $29 for 12 Crossfit classes (a $144 value)<p>
Four of the classes in either option will be “on-ramp” classes held Monday and Friday at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m. (by appointment), and 7:15 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 a.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. These classes introduce students to Crossfit Drive’s high-intensity lifting techniques—including kettle bell swings and Olympic lifts—that can lead to injury if performed improperly. At the same time, the “on-ramp” classes give instructors a chance to judge students’ fitness levels and supply them with nutrition and flexibility tips. Following the “on-ramp” classes, students can partake in any Crossfit class, which are scheduled six days a week. For the complete class schedule, click here.
Insomnia, stomach pains, and lackluster effort were the results of Travis Sleighter's old, repetitive workout routine. In the midst of what he recalls as a "mini midlife crisis," he stumbled upon a CrossFit class and was stunned at how weak he was compared to the other students, who each carried their own 500-pound Trapper Keepers. He doggedly continued sweating through the exercises, began to master them, and eventually opened Crossfit Drive to share his fitness discovery.
Touting certifications from the NASM, ISSA, and NCSF, as well as an intermediate-level CrossFit certification, he enthusiastically guides his students through the CrossFit workout of the day as efficiently as possible. The high-energy, always-evolving workouts keep students' muscles and minds active throughout each exercise. Around the gym, Sleighter and his staff build a close-knit community through events such as pool parties and movie nights.
