The warm earth tones of Crust Pizza & Wine Cafe’s wooden furniture, red leather chair cushions, and exposed brick seem to glow in the intimate lighting like the fires that fuel Crust’s stone ovens. Today’s Groupon shakes on the Parmesan with $30 worth of Italian offerings and wine for $15 at Crust’s Scottsdale location.
Crust’s menu is chock full of pies, including rusticas (hand-stretched individual pizzas, whole wheat available), large thin-crust and medium-crust pies, and pizzas by the slice (before 4 p.m.). Fresh and delicious ingredients are plentiful and include spinach, prosciutto, arugula, pepperoni, eggplant, and more. If you’re not in a pizza mood, load up on appetizers (white-bean bruschetta and meatball sliders), the eggplant parm rollatini (succulent mixture of eggplant and cheeses rolled in a pizza crust and served with the house marinara sauce), or one of Crust’s specialties, chicken champagne (tender chicken served with pepperoncini, red peppers, and linguini in a champagne butter sauce). For the perfect liquid complement, peruse Crust’s extensive wine list or cocktail offerings.

About My Pie
Though they don't knead the dough themselves, customers at My Pie certainly have a hand in their pizzas' creation. That's because they dictate their assembly every step of the way. At the restaurant's front counter, Piezanos take requests for custom-built Neapolitan-style pies directly from their hungry patrons, beginning with the selection of a fresh-made white, wheat, or gluten-free crust. To top that fresh foundation, customers then select from five different sauces—including conventional pizza sauce, spicy fra diavolo, and savory BBQ—and an assortment of meat and vegetable toppings. Each pie then enters an 800-degree oven that cooks it to perfection in two minutes. Though custom pizzas are the restaurant's forte, they also craft traditional varieties such as Margherita and NY cheese pie—both mainstays of My Pie's parent company, Crust, whose multiple Arizona restaurants continue a legacy of using fresh, homemade, and local ingredients in crafting their signature pies.
