I love the small group classes and the classes itself. Elizabeth, owner and instructor, is super nice and you can tell she loves her job. She takes the time to watch your movements to make sure your doing them correctly. Also she has great advice and suggestions related to your fitness concerns. I would definitively recommend Eccentric Movement! Good job, Elizabeth!!

I loved the place and Liz, the owner. The main reason I'm not still going is the full price without the Groupn is too much for me right now.

What You'll Get

Exercise is a pleasurable activity for both would-be athletes and recovering pyromaniacs desperate enough to settle for burning calories. Fuel fitness regimens with today’s Groupon: for $60, you get a 10-class pack of group fitness classes at Eccentric Movement in Andover (up to a $120 value).

Eccentric Movement‘s group fitness classes focus on eccentric and isometric movements to produce longer, leaner skeleton-carrying muscles. Barre sessions levitate limbs to burn fat, tone abs, and fuel legs with the power needed to run a marathon or win a Flintstones drag race. The PiYo class fuses Pilates and yoga to improve flexibility and boost core strength, and the slew of specialty Eccentric Movement sessions⎯such as Total Body Toner, Abs & Arms Express, and Core⎯are designed by the studio's owner to lengthen and tone muscles.

The flexifying studio cultivates an eco-friendly environment in which to fortify bone cages. It boasts natural light bouncing off mirror-lined walls and smooth bamboo floors, and the management employs a paperless system, encourages clients to bring their own refillable water bottles, and offers free massages for needy plants with stiff stems. Patrons can enjoy the large changing rooms and private bathrooms after a forehead-wiping class from the flexible schedule.
