Chef and owner Stuart Brown infuses distinct, bold flavors into a variety of tapas-style plates as well as larger dishes of pasta, fish, and meats in an upscale, contemporary dining atmosphere. Pairs of adventurous diners begin the three-course meal with starters from the dinner menu, including soups such as the chilled gazpacho finished with fresh lobster and crabmeat, or small hot plates such as crisp spring rolls unexpectedly stuffed philly cheesesteak–style, boasting a housemade cheez whiz lusciously creamy enough to prompt many diners to send their compliments to the Cheez Wizard himself. The entree course includes hearty plates such as grilled Australian lamb chops with goat-cheese mashed potatoes, baby bok choy, and a roasted-garlic-rosemary jus, helping guests make beautiful fork tine music together. The dessert menu leaves paired patrons' palates singing the praises of the chocolate and flour in the Truly Decadent chocolate waffles, with cold espresso ice cream and whipped cream melting in the arms of warm bittersweet chocolate waffles infused with chocolate chips and smothered in a bananas-foster sauce, ensuring a final course divinely saccharine enough to power an entire hummingbird colony for six months.
