This 10-day tour of Vietnam lets you experience life as a local, where you’ll explore the historic monuments and sites of the bustling city of Ho Chi Min, take a boat ride through the village of Mekong Delta, and discover the local culture and rich heritage of Hoi An.

  • Day 1: Depart for Saigon.
  • Day 2: Arrive in Ho Chi Min (Saigon), the most dynamic city of Vietnam
  • Day 3: Spend the day touring the city, starting with the Notre Dam Cathedral, then venturing to the Saigon Post Office, The People’s Committee Hall, the Saigon Opera House, and other famed attractions and monuments. The day ends at Ben Thanh Market – a symbol of the city.
  • Day 4: Travel from Saigon to Mekong Delta, where you’ll take a boat ride on the river and spend the day exploring life as a local in this village, stopping at brickwork, coconut processing workshops along the way.
  • Day 5: The morning starts with a boat ride through the Cai Rang floating market. You’ll then make your way back to meet your driver, who will take you back to Saigon for the flight to Danang.
  • Day 6: Visit the ancient streets of Hoi An, lined with Chinese traders’ homes and wooden houses reincarnated as restaurants.
  • Day 7: Explore the city of Hoi An at your leisure.
  • Day 8: Travel to Hue, the Vietnam’s last feudal capital.
  • Day 9: Visit the Hue Imperial Citadel and then spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
  • Day 10: Fly from Hue back to Saigon, where you will board your respective departure flight home.

Intertrips’ itinerary and services provided were fantastic. Of course, the price was nice. Connections were made with all local guides and their excellent guidance. The hotel accommodations and arrangements were another excellent.

Easy to book with the travel agency. All hotels were like 4 stars. This tour is FULLY packed/pre-scheduled with lots to see. Be prepared to wake up by 7am and walk around a lot. It's great for people who wants to explore everything/as much as possible. There were also quite a lot of add-on that you can pay extra for. Beware that there are A LOT of upselling at places you go to/tours. Some are worth it but a lot probably aren't. Our tour Beijing tour guide, Jing, was amazing! She's very considerate, patient, knowledgeable, and great storyteller. Our Suzhou tour guide, Grace, was nice but seemed to got overwhelmed from time to time.
