Mail the tickets to the purchaser or move up the expiration date or let them be good for the following year. I use my Groupons in order of expiration date, so I didn't remember this one until mid-August. Now I'm on a mad dash to use them all.

What You'll Get

Statistics help fans analyze a baseball player’s career, from quantifying a slugger’s batting average to measuring a right fielder’s apathy. See numbers come to life with this deal to see the San Jose Giants at Municipal Stadium. For $40, you get a bonus book of tickets (an $80 value), which includes the following:

  • 10 undated tickets for general-admission seating
  • One family pass that admits two adults and two children into any Saturday or Sunday game <p>

The 10 undated tickets can be used up to five tickets at a time or spread out across several games. These tickets are valid for any remaining regular-season games, excluding the Fireworks Extravaganza game on July 4. See the schedule for upcoming games.

Since teaming up with their Major League affiliate, the San Francisco Giants, in 1988, the San Jose Giants have been among Minor League Baseball’s most productive clubs. They’ve won six California League championships—including back-to-back titles in 2009 and 2010—and have graduated more than 150 players to the big leagues, including current stars Buster Posey, Matt Cain, and Tim Lincecum. This season, top prospects include shortstop Joe Panik and catcher Andrew Susac.

As the Giants stomp into the second half of the 2012 season, Municipal Stadium continues to host home games with a venerable presence that has held strong over the last 70 years. In 2011, 222,547 fans chose to enjoy summer at the ballpark instead of filling their pools with frozen yogurt, setting an attendance record in the process. Special promotions help lure even fair-weather baseball fans to the park, including “Cartoon Character and Superhero Night” on July 16 and a giant luau on August 10.
