It was a great game but using the groupon was by far the most inconvenient experience I've ever had! The ticket scanners couldn't scan the mobile app and the only reason we got in after waiting in line for an hour to be told we needed to go to special services, is because someone gave us extra tickets. It was the worst groupon experience I have ever had.

Top-10-ranked Cardinal football team battles San Jose State with powerful rushing attacks & Heisman runner-up Andrew Luck

An outing with friends or family fosters lifelong memories while giving houses the chance to molt in private. Leave your domicile to its own devices with today’s deal: for $30, you get two tickets to the Stanford football game versus San Jose State at Stanford Stadium on Saturday, September 3 at 2 p.m. (a $60 value). Groupons should be exchanged for tickets at Ticket Gate 2 on game day. Seats are located in the East/Sunny Goal section of the stadium. Kids ages 14 and younger may attend the game for free by pre-registering.

The Stanford Cardinal make the gridiron sizzle with red-hot rushing attacks and a torrid touchdown passes, earning an Orange Bowl crown in 2010 and a top-10 ranking in AP’s 2011 pre-season poll. Instead of watching the game from an ominous raincloud, soak up the action from sun-dappled seats near the goalposts. Twelve veteran starters return to the Cardinal this season, including Heisman Trophy runner-up Andrew Luck, a senior quarterback poised to shatter several of the team’s passing records in 2011. Rookie linebacker James Vaughters plans to bolster the Cardinal’s conference-leading sacking record, and junior running back Stepfan Taylor hopes to build a rustic cabin in the end zone after logging the second-highest rushing total in school history.

Stanford Stadium embraces visitors with a ring of 50,000 seats swathed in cheering fans. Two high-resolution video boards broadcast highlights in crystal-clear detail, and a natural-grass field serves hearty roughage that helps fans digest snacks from the game’s Food Truck Festival (food not included in today’s deal). Kids can run the field after the San Jose State duel, as can adults in convincing Little Lord Fauntleroy costumes.
