This spirited musical revue features a talented cast of six and a live band working together to put on a radio broadcast near the end of War World II. Hold on tight for lots of delightful surprises, plus war-time romance, comedy and the hits of Benny Goodman, The Andrews Sisters, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and many more popular artists who had guys and dolls jitterbugging to the uptempo rhythms of "In The Mood," "Boogie Woogie Buggle Boy," "Sing, Sing, Sing" and plenty of other top tunes. Completing the experience, vintage Movietone newsreels are screened 15 minutes before the curtain goes up at the Burke Theater in Washington, D.C.
The show runs one hour and 40 minutes, with one intermission.
The Burke Theater is located inside the Naval Heritage Center, which is immediately north of the Navy Memorial plaza/fountain area on the inside corner of the 701 Pennsylvania building. View exact location and directions here.
