The two Groupons are meant to be used by two people, so each person gets two rides. Similarly, the four Groupons are meant to be used by four people with each person getting two rides.
At the speed of their choice, adventurers fly down a half-mile dual alpine slide, twisting and turning through mountain meadows before finishing at the base area of Skibowl West. Visitors drop 350 feet over the half-mile ride, reaching average speeds around 20 mph. Riders control the brakes and can always slow down whenever they want.
The ride’s two side-by-side tracks let guests zip alongside family and friends and marvel at their open-mouthed expressions as the sleds navigate banked turns, S-curves, and hairpin thrills. It all starts with a leisurely trip up the mountain on the scenic sky chairs.
Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl
Mt. Hood Skibowl may be known for its fresh powder and thrilling winter activities, but it’s no less fun when the weather starts to heat up. That’s when it turns into Mt. Hood Adventure Park, which entertains with more than 20 attractions designed to get hearts pumping.
Adventurers can flip upside down on a bungee trampoline, climb a rock wall, or fly down a half-mile dual alpine slide, navigating banked turns and S-curves on a sled that reaches average speeds around 20 mph. They can also strap themselves into a giant inflatable Aqua Roller ball and roll around in a pool of water while attempting to careen into the other giant inflatable balls.
In addition to more extreme activities, Mt. Hood Adventure Park offers activities to please nature lovers, including interpretive hiking trails and scenic sky chairs. These lift riders up above Mt. Hood National Forest and dazzle with views of the Cascades and Big Foots picking fresh wildflowers below.
