What You'll Get
- $43 for three private music lessons ($78 value)
After your three private music lessons at Music Lessons NH, you may wonder about sound waves because music and everything else we hear is made up of sound waves. Like the varying ripples in a pond after you skip a snapping turtle, sound travels in waves. When a guitarist plucks a note, for instance, the string causes the air molecules around it to vibrate, which in turn causes more molecules to vibrate, and on and on until the wave reaches your ears.

We love to spend time explaining the best technique for the instrument. Better technique equals better tone and more enjoyment. We teach at a developmentally appropriate level for the student, starting at age 4.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Students bring an instrument, and we will help with music and listening suggestions.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I (Chris, the founder) began just on the weekend and found I loved helping people discover music.
What do you love most about your job?
I get to see people feel the joy of producing sound and making music. It's contagious.
