What You'll Get
If humankind never learned to play with its food, it would never have learned to play with its ingredients, and the world would be one bereft bowl of gruel. Taste the fruits of culinary creativity with today's Groupon to Opus One, located downtown. Choose from the following fine-dining options:
- For $30, you get $60 worth of dinner and drinks
- For $15, you get $30 worth of lunch and drinks
The oft-acclaimed Opus One offers luxury seekers an elegant dining ambience with a menu of fine American cuisine to match. Whet your evening appetite with a starter of three fresh oysters on the half-shell ($9) from the dinner menu and a creatively concocted salad, such as the chilled quinoa and avocado salad ($9) or the grapefruit, orange, and fennel salad ($9). Entrees come in two sizes—petite, including the steak and chèvre risotto cakes with asparagus ($15) for littler hungers, and full-sized helpings of seafood ($23–$39), red meats ($35 for filet mignon with chive-whipped potatoes), and Opus One specialties, such as the pork osso bucco, a slow-roasted pork shank ($25). Cap your dinner with a Chambord crème brûlée ($8) or another sweet from the dessert selection. The lunch menu offers a scaled-down version of dinner with added wines by the glass ($8–$14 for whites, $8–$50 for reds).
Surrounded by rich, cream-colored walls with champagne accents, etched windows, plush upholstered seating, and ornate details, diners are enveloped in an experience of multisensory elegance, akin to swimming laps in a pool filled with diamond-studded stereos. Enjoy libations from the restaurant's extensive wine list, and celebrate a precious, semi-precious, or igneous occasion in opulent surroundings with today's Groupon to Opus One.
Not valid for the Bistro Bar menu or special events and dinner-theater packages. There is a $5 split fee for soup, salads, appetizers, and lunch entrees and a $10 split fee for dinner entrees.
