For $15, today's Groupon gets you $30 worth of Italian-style grub and pub at Prosciutto's Pizzeria, Pub & Restaurant, voted Charlotte's Best Restaurant and Best Group Dining Experience in Citysearch's Best of 2009. With an unmatched NY-style pizza pie, live music, flat-screens with football, and a smattering of choice beers, this isn’t a cattle ranch.
For being open a mere five years, Prosciutto's has quickly made a name for itself through word-of-mouth and relentless Led Zeppelin–fueled skywriting. Known to many as the Cheers of pizzerias, you’ll know you’re right at home when the scent of a steamy 16-inch pie wafts directly into the pizza centers of your brain. Pizzas come in two sizes (12-inch and 16-inch) with limitless combinations. If you decide to build your own 16-incher, start with a foundation of basic cheese ($12.25), then add toppings to your heart’s content. Standard garnishers such as onions, peppers, mushrooms, Italian sausage, and more are $1.50 each, and premium toppings such as bacon, shaved steak, grilled chicken, sapphires and more are $2.00. Prices are a few quarters less if your stomach is narrow enough to snuggle the twelver.
There are also a plethora of specialty pizzas such as the siena (pesto, roasted red peppers, chicken tenders, feta, mozzarella, $17.25 for a 16-ince), the Mexican taco (hamburger, tomatoes, black olives, onions, salsa, cheddar, mozzarella, $20.25 for a 16-inch), and the Florentine (olive oil and garlic base, onions, mushrooms, spinach, feta, mozzarella, $18.25 for a 16-inch). While infamous around town for pizza, the restaurant also offers a full menu of foods that don't conform to the circle-made-of-triangles paradigm. Salads, sandwiches, wings, pasta dishes, and desserts all find a home on the extensive menu.
Wash it all down with a frosty alcohol beer ($2.75 for domestics, $3.50 for premiums) and an ample amount of fun. With NFL Sunday Ticket showing up to eight games on 11 TVs, you can catch the game at a place more comfortable than your couch. On Fridays and Saturdays, live music fills your ears as pizza fills your belly. Mommies and daddies aren’t the only ones allowed to enjoy themselves at Prosciutto’s; the kids menu, children’s play area, and smoke-free environment create the family-friendliest atmosphere Charlotte has to offer, ever since the pumas took over that cupcake factory.
Note: This Groupon is only valid for dine-in and takeout, not delivery.

About Prosciutto's Pizzeria & Pub
Prosciutto's Pizzeria & Pub hosts an updated menu of New York–style pizza and Italian fare that earned the establishment Best Pizza and Best Italian Food. To complement the traditional pastas, white pizzas, and pies slathered in daily-made tomato sauce, a lengthy beer and wine list features craft beers, imported brews, and a wealth of red and white wines.
The family-friendly pub and pizzeria is divided in two: The kids side with video games and toys has seceded from an adult section that houses a bar. A warm atmosphere, plenty of TVs, and trivia machines make the veritable gourmet pizza lover's paradise enjoyable for adults and kids alike. Thursday nights host seasonal cornhole tournaments outdoors on the patio, weather permitting.
