What You'll Get
Welcome to Groupon, Napa/Sonoma! For our inaugural deal, $5 for $10 Worth of Diner Fare and Drinks at Roy's Chicago Doggery. Since this is everyone's first Groupon, allow us to briefly explain how it works.
How Groupon Works
Groupon is a combination of the words group and coupon. Each day, we offer an unbeatable deal on the best of Napa/Sonoma: restaurants, spas, sporting events, theater, and more. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else. We call it "collective buying power."
If you want to get the deal, just click BUY before the offer ends at midnight. If the minimum number of people (5 for today's deal) sign up by the end of the day, you'll be emailed a gift certificate the next morning. You can print your Groupons, or redeem them with our mobile app. Use them whenever you want until the deal expires—today's expires in 1 year. If not enough people join, no one gets the deal (and you won't be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the discount!
Using a pillowy bun as a barrier, hot dogs are safely protected from environmental hazards such as open manholes and greasy-handed schoolchildren. Enjoy snugly shielded franks with today's Groupon: For $5, you get $10 worth of Chicago-style eats and drinks at Roy's Chicago Doggery in Petaluma.
Roy's Vienna-beefed menu brings genuine Second City taste to your face with their authentic Chicago Dog ($4). Because it's buried under a thick canopy of mustard, onion, sweet-pickle relish, a dill-pickle spear, tomato slices, pickled peppers, celery salt—and notably lacking in ketchup—a Chicago-style hot dog can be difficult to identify. Sample equally slathered offerings like the barbecue chili dog ($4), an all-beef dog deep-fried and covered in barbecue sauce, cheese, and chili, or snarf the half-pound Home Wrecker ($8) to demolish towering hunger with encased meats. Bookend your meal with chili cheese fries ($3) and a frosty malt ($2.75) before going Chicago-style all the way and watching baseball team consisting only of crooked aldermen lose every year for a century.
- What's not to like? It's simple, it's cheap, it's good. The staff is friendly and your wait is short. Ba da bing! – Monica A., Yelp
- This place is great! The dogs are outstanding and the service is excellent. I felt like I was having a meal at a friends house, that's how nice they are! – Whippy, Urbanspoon
