$30 for a family pizza dinner for five ($50 value)
- 24 slices of pizza
- Large order of mozzarella sticks or large order of wings
Paolo and Francis Sciortino founded Sciortino's Restaurant in the 1930s, and eight decades later, a fourth generation of the family continues to make the restaurant an Italian staple in South Amboy. They do so by sticking to the fundamentals: crafting pizzas from daily-made dough, then loading them into brick ovens topped with California tomatoes, Wisconsin cheeses, and homemade meats. Elsewhere on the menu you'll find more than a dozen pastas, plus specialities like the zuppa di pesce, an especially robust treat that features a seafood medley of shrimp, scallops, mussels, and calamari over linguini. No matter the dish, diners can rest assured the ingredients are never frozen or zapped in a microwave.
