What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our school has a very strong core group of dedicated parents and students. We are very lucky to have such a close and caring atmosphere. It makes us a part of the local community.
What’s one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Students should come ready to have fun. Effort is what makes a difference when in class. How you perform doesn’t matter because everyone is learning and you will be accepted by trying your best.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Originally we were part of a larger group, but unfortunately the local school folded. As a group the parents of the youth and the adult students rallied around us and gave us the opportunity for the school we have today. It really is a great family to be a part of.
What do you love most about your job?
Everything! I often find myself staying late discussing martial arts training with my adult students or creating new goals for the youth. We really started from nothing so every day where we make one thing better is a victory and is something I savor.
