What You'll Get
Eating is a lot like playing baseball—crowding the plate eliminates the visible zone that opposing eaters could strike through. Protect tasty plates with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of pub fare at Sidelines Grill in Chandler.
At Sidelines Grill, a neighborhood sports bar, appetites score with the extensive menu of sandwiches, pizza, wings, and other pub fare. Meals take flight with a dozen chicken wings, which splash in a spectrum of sauces, from teriyaki to honey hot ($7.99). The fish tacos wrap beer-battered fish, cilantro, and special sauce in corn tortillas ($8.99), and the meaty goodness of Marco's meatloaf is cloaked in a secret recipe attainable only by tickling the meatloaf until it blabs ($9.99). Pull back the steel curtain, an ominous heap of corned beef, coleslaw, french fries, and two fried eggs sandwiched between rye bread ($9.99). The menu plays out with three different sizes of pizza ($5.99–$12.99 for cheese), which diners can customize by drafting from a lineup of 11 toppings. The dining room buzzes with play-by-plays from a multitude of plasma televisions, and the booths in the back sport individual screens, so diners can pick and interact with their own channel. On weekends, Sidelines hosts live music, including a band of saxophone-playing footballs.
