Aromas of fresh seafood, homemade pasta, and steak seasoned by chef Billy Holt drift through The Talk's elegant dining room, where patrons peruse menus of New American and Italian cuisines. Diners can dine assured and fire taste buds with homemade stuff cohogs ($5.95 each) or play dominoes with the caprese's overlapping slices of vine-ripened tomato topped with mozzarella slices, olive oil, and shreds of basil ($11). Maritime menu items, such as the fresh 14 oz. Atlantic swordfish ($24.95) or the broiled sea scallops ($18), are locally caught and delivered fresh daily. On Friday and Saturday evenings, diners meditate upon the 16-ounce slabs of certified Angus prime rib that fill their plates with veggies and a choice of baked or mashed potato ($24). Cooks ladle homemade marinara sauce onto homemade penne for eggplant ($17), chicken ($18), or veal parmesan ($21) and splash seasoned breadcrumbs, white wine, and butter onto broiled scrod fillets served with rice pilaf and a vegetable ($18).
