When an ankle injury ended Brittany Freeman's rising ballet career at age 18, she refused to let it dampen her enthusiasm for dance in general. Instead, she devoted her time to devising a fitness system that combined ballet-like stretches, Pilates, resistance training, isometric movements, and body-weight exercises to create an innovative and engaging workout regimen. This regimen is widely taught at her fitness studio—Tone Barre—which features sprung floors intended to minimize any strain that the low-impact workouts place on the joints. In addition to the muscle-toning and waistline-slimming Tone Barre sessions, the studio's instructors also lead high-intensity Tabata classes that provide a complete workout by incorporating interval cardio work.
Been to three classes so far, love it so much I bought another package. The instructors are motivating, in a truly energizing way. I only look at the clock once per class to see when it's over, and it's always going faster than expected. At the end, I always feel like I did a great workout and can't wait to go back!

The instructors are amazing! They offer easier and harder options during the exercises so everyone can get the workout that's perfect for them. They are incredible motivators as well, not too pushy or anything but truly just want you to do your best! I always feel so great after going to the classes. It's just an incredibly satisfying workout.
