What You'll Get
The Scots developed golf to irk common loch pests, like merats, locharoaches, and Nessie, who, to this day, rarely surfaces for fear of being beaned by a well-aimed ball. Brush up your monster-vexing skills with today's Groupon: for $25, you get four large buckets of driving range balls at Tualatin Island Greens, and $10 to spend at the Island Grill (a $54 total value). The four buckets can be used over multiple visits.
The driving range at Tualatin Island Greens boasts 43 synthetic tee stations (including 25 covered and 12 heated stations), a bunker to practice trap shots, and a pitching area with flags at 20, 30, and 40 yards, as well as another flag at 500 years reserved for Bo Jackson, the king of all sports. You'll have four large buckets (110 balls per bucket, $11 each) to use for practicing well-finessed wedge shots or aggressively aiming at unsuspecting imaginary golf-cart drivers for shameless entertainment. Tualatin Island Greens' driving range has lights for nighttime play, allowing golfers to finally achieve that elusive moon-tan.
After you've emptied your ball buckets, refill your sustenance gullet at the Island Grill. The mouth-watering menu features hearty pasta dishes ($7.95–$11.95), savory burgers and entrees ($7.95–$11.95), as well as flavorful Mexican and Thai-inspired fare. The Island Grill caters to all palates regardless of swing stance or bogey record.
- Fun driving range down in Tualatin. The main claim to fame is the island green surrounded by a moat of water (mimicking the 17th green at TPC Sawgrass). – Essay .., Yelp
- We've played this course twice and was just as difficult the second time. They also have a nice driving range, small snack bar/restaurant, and pro shop. – Veronica P., Insider Pages

About Tualatin Island Greens
Vibrant groves of trees and gardens provide a scenic backdrop for year-round driving range practice and miniature golf at Tualatin Island Greens. At the range, 43 synthetic hitting bays (including 25 covered and 12 heated stations) look out onto a vast field with plenty of real estate for Herculean drives and accuracy-testing target areas, including a green surrounded by a moat to keep area lawn gnomes from stealing the flagstick. The range also features target flags at 20, 30, and 40 yards to facilitate short-game practice or serve as the destination for balls hit out of the practice sand trap.
Water trickles over a tiny canyon of bedrock that runs alongside Tualatin Island Greens' mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is situated in the shade of towering pines that, paired with its well-manicured gardens, instill peace of mind as players read tricky slopes and avoid obstacles such as Lilliputian ponds, sand traps, and Olympic track hurdles. Golfers can improve their par-hunting prowess past sunset, as the entire complex has lights for nighttime use. Tualatin's Island Grill is also onsite to keep appetites at bay with burgers, chicken wings, and other savory fare.
