About William Grassie Wine Estates

When Bill Grassie moved to the Seattle area in 2006, he planted a small vineyard amid a flourishing garden, the unsure of what to do with the space. Though he was an avid gardener, not a winemaker, a year later his seemingly minor decision to grow grapes would change his life: soon he was crafting award-winning Bordeaux wine with grapes from Eastern Washington and his operation blossomed into a full winery. In 2014, all his wines received high marks from Wine Enthusiast, several earning over 90 points out of 100 and Grassie earning countless high fives from colleagues.
