Was not disappointed The price wasn't too bad, the place was clean, lighting was good, plugs located strategically, the elevators were quick, bed was comfortable, shower was good. Had a fridge and an iron. But no blow dryer. Hmmmm. Parking lot was well lit. Location was close to the Interstate. I'm still leaving a five star rating. Oh, and they had a pool, but no hot tub.

DON'T STAY HERE The service atnthe desk was good. The clerk was thorough and expedited our check in professionally. The room was a hot mess. We were only there overnight but. . . the area where the sink, microwave and refrigerator was located , as well as the pull out couch and chair was horrible. The sink was broken so if you sat anything wet on the counter, it leaked because the counter was broken. The cleaning staff must have whizzed by this room because we found a piece of clothing behind the couch. The curtains hanging at the window were dirty and torn. The bathroom only had one large towel, a dirty bath mat, 4 hand towels and 1 wash cloth. My husband had to go to the desk to get what we needed to add to/replace them. I do understand that you get what you pay for, but this was a $99 special -- closer to $200. I don't recommend it, even for a quick trip until some renovations are made.

Don't stay at Allentown Park Hotel This is one of the worst hotels we have stayed in and we travel for pleasure several times a year. Beginning with the outside area- weeds were overgrown in the flower beds, the American flag flying was in tatters, and cigarette butts littered the entrance. The room was ok clean but the bed pillows were tiny and uncomfortable. The breakfast was a few tiny muffins and some cold cereal-why bother? The indoor "heated" pool was 70 degrees, smelled funny and the water murky. When complained to front desk all they did was shrug their shoulders. DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!!! When I complained to Choice hotels they offered me hotel points-unbelievable ! Have been a loyal Choice hotels guest- never again! pay a little more and get a nice place.

Lots of other choices of hotels in area This is one step above motel 6. When the hotel offers free breakfast but in their own description of hotel tell you the starlight diner is nearby for breakfast,it should tell you something. It’s a building plopped in an industrial parking lot. It had a saltwater pool but at 10 am it was closed. Asking at front desk it would stay closed for an hour as they added chemicals. It’s a saltwater pool. An hour and half later as I inquired about it still closed, they were acting confused. I had to explain last person said an hour so they said they’d find someone to take sign down. I inquired about pool towels, and they said they’d bring them. The towels were brought another 2 hours later. We were sitting there dripping drying at this point. Toilet seat was broken but didn’t let them know as we had someone needing to be on for work and had no time to have repairs made anyway. The Wi-Fi was not good and had to use our hotspot.

Better Choices Nearby Stayed here for one night with a sports team. I was in the room closest to the lobby which kinda stunk because all of the noise from the teams was so loud until 10:00. The hotel is basic motel style rooms. They have everything g basic that you need, but certainly nothing fancy. The towels and bedding are both of adequate quality for one night. With a great theme park nearby, I am very confident that there are several much nicer places to chose from.
