Amazing experience Antonio, the manager was amazing and very friendly! When i asked for a late checkout he was more than accommodating. They honor the rewards credit which is something not all Hilton properties do anymore. The rooms are clean and the pool was great

Dirty, unfriendly, unhelpful front desk personnel and not the place to stay for a vacation As with another reviewer I and my family have no idea why this hotel has such high reviews. We checked in to a king junior suite (room 618), it was booked and paid for as a diamond member. Of course there was no bell boy or anything so we took all our luggage up on a trolley. Upon entering the room we were confronted with a huge 6 seater conference table in the middle of the ‘living room’ area. Due to its size and imposing position we could not pull the bed settee out. We called down to reception and eventually they agreed to let us move some of the furniture out to pull the bed settee out. Horror! The mattress on the bed settee was disgustingly filthy and stained and worn away. Maintenance came up and said they would take it and disinfect it but when they pulled the mattress off the remnants of years of rubbish were under the mattress. Clearly no cleaning had ever been done ands the mattress was thin and threadbare! We got the mattress back and bedding but our daughter did not want to sleep on it so shared our bed. The reception said they could only swap us to a two queen bed room- that is a much smaller room than we have paid for . The safe did not work and despite maintenance trying to fix it, it only worked intermittently. Upon telling reception staff about the dirtiness they didn’t seem too bothered and just said ‘that’s not good’ but did nothing. We again had poor experience with reception staff when our room was not refreshed and towels changed even though we requested every day. They said we had Do Not Disturb sign on but we had gone out at 9.30am! The maid said it was receptions job to call them when the room was free for cleaning as they may have done that floor early in the morning. Since when did you have to vacate a room at 8am in order to get it cleaned! That was not made clear upon checking in. My husband mentioned we’d had no complimentary water for two days. Reception said ‘we don’t always leave it and you have to be Diamond, Gold or Silver’ - we are and she should have seen that! Honestly the customer service in mid Florida Hilton hotels are shockingly poor compared to southern Florida. Oh….and two of three umbrellas around the pool were broken and air conditioning set to high so room too hot and cannot adjust. Maintenance guy was very helpful and maids were kind and helpful but some reception staff leave a lot to be desired. Will not be staying here again and definitely would not recommend it. Spending so much money on reception refurbishment but letting kids sleep on filthy stained mattresses is unacceptable.

Worst. Stay. Ever. I’m so confused how this hotel has so many good reviews?! It was one problem after another. I will never stay here again. Before the problems even began, I noticed the woman at the front desk was extremely unfriendly and not welcoming whatsoever. First after unpacking everything, setting up a pack n play, with two little kids in tow, we noticed the AC would not go below 77. It was so hot and humid. They had to relocate us to a different room. Also made us come to the front desk to get a new key and acted like NOTHING was wrong. No sorry, not apologetic whatsoever. We get to the new room and the toilet won’t flush! I’m serious. They literally had to send someone up to work on the toilet as soon as we got in the room. We also couldn’t even keep our curtains open because there were men directly in front of our window working on AC units our entire stay. To top everything off, I had to call the hotel TWICE when we got home because there were random charges from the lobby restaurant on my bank account! We never once went to the restaurant. Again, they acted like it happens all the time and did not apologize once! This was an awful stay. Find a different hotel. Trust me.

Antonio and Hilton Altamonte Springs for the Win First . Antonio is my new favorite name! He also happens to be the front desk mgr at the Hilton Altamonte Springs hotel. He was such a life saver. Here's my quick rundown... I booked at the Mainstay hotel... anddddddd I knew better, checked in and literally walked back out. I decided to drive over to Hilton Altamonte to see if they were able to give us a room.. and from the moment we stepped through the doors, a sense of relief, comfort and safety took over. The stay was. kind and. charismatic, listened and was able to address our needed immediately. I recommend staying here whenever you visit. Orlando and if this review helps you, when you get to the front desk as for the Awesome Antonio Attentive service... _

A wonderful hotel This hotel is a beautiful hotel and is a great hotel for guest wanting to stay in Orlando. It’s right by the altamonte mall. And a 40 min drive to the airport. I had my wedding at this hotel and Lisa was wonderful to work with. The food was amazing and the staff are super nice. I would recommend this place for wedding receptions.
