Horrible Experience We were booked at this hotel by my insurance company as that is a part of my benefits package. My son and I had to be in Ardmore as I was having a medical procedure done on Friday August 9th. We checked in around 9:15 pm Wed the 7th. Upon arrival, we noticed that the property had several shady characters hanging around outside. Check-in was very smooth with the evening clerk, but we just got a bad vibe about this place. We headed toward the elevator, and noticed a young kid, probably around 10 yrs old, lounging on the bench next to the ice machine with his feet propped up against it playing on his phone, with no parents in site. The elevator had what appeared to be yogurt splattered all over the sides of the entrance, as well as the floor of the elevator being filth. We later took the stairs, and there was trash and debris all over the place there as well. When we got to our room, the air felt heavy and damp. I adjusted the thermostat, but it didn’t seem to be cooling properly. Plus the thermostat looked as if someone had tried to pry it off of the wall. Also, there were at least 2 power strips plugged in behind the bench along the wall under the tv with several things plugged in to them, which didn’t seem very safe. Both mattresses were extremely lumpy, as well as the pillows. Also, the sheets were poor fitting and wouldn’t stay on the bed. The towels in the bathroom were paper thin with fraying ends and the water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent. Maybe the worst part our two night stay was the breakfast. Thursday morning we went down to eat around 8:15, and the pickings were very slim. There was only about a scoop full of eggs, some clumped up bacon, three rock hard biscuits, and gravy that looked as if it hadn’t been tended to since it was put out. The food staff were extremely obnoxious and rude. One of them even blurted out loud “I ain’t making nor more biscuits, ‘cause I don’t care”. She then wandered off to the pantry talking to herself. The other attendant was filling a plate to eat before my son and I even had a chance to see what there was. This is EXTREMELY unprofessional. If this is all you can manage to hire to work, it might be best to just shut this place down. We skipped the breakfast Friday morning because of what happened Thursday morning. Before our stay, I had read several of the previous reviews in the past few months, and I totally agree and echo each and every negative thing that was said. Needless to say, I will NEVER stay at this property again. If I could, I’d give it negative stars!!!!!

Avoid this specific location if possible. I recently stayed 3 nights (Thur-Sat) in late July. Early Friday morning (5 am), we were awoken by the fire alarm which went away in 10 min. We went down for breakfast to learn that their oven was the reason. It hadn't been clean in who knows how long, so they were forced to clean it so all the residue wouldn't smoke up the place again. The folks manning the kitchen are related it seems and take a lot of smoke breaks. On Saturday, no room service was done for our room or the entire 2nd floor. The GM had to return to work on Saturday to deal with the huge number of complaints. I had a long polite conversation with the GM and stated if they put cameras at the back door area they would see all the staff that disappears for smoke breaks and then know why some things never get done. Lastly, I paid for my stay back in June. When I checked out I noticed I was billed for 3 nights plus an incidentals deposit. The GM was the one that checked me in on Thursday. I am still monitoring my credit card to make sure the charges fall off, if they don't, I will have them cancelled. In summary, don't choose this place.

No Plans To Return - Room humid. No GF items available for breakfast. Bed was in need of replacement..it sloped. Most electrical outlets were too small for my curling irons. Stayed twice within two weeks time. Unable to get FOX News. Wonderful restaurant within walking distance.

staff always attentive Easy to access, friendly and helpful staff, easy check in and check out, clean and comfy, good breakfast set up, close to BBQ restaurant, quiet location at night, has an indoor pool, clearly posted information on where to go during a tornado warning.

Had my friend come up from Texas and stayed with her It was awesome and the room was very clean. Go team! We were in a double king and both rooms were clean and it smelled good. I always check ac vents whatever hotel I got to and in both unit vent were clean and smelled great.
