Convenient and Clean Best kept secret in Avon. Clean, convenient, affordable, free hot cocoa in lobby, hot tub and pool. One elevator been down entire ski season but staff all super nice, plentiful housekeepers and front desk people. Always super nice. Pet friendly too. I wish they had smart TV’s so you could cast Netflix to watch Netflix.

A weird time warp ripoff This place is unreal. The room has a portable air conditioner sitting in the fireplace and doesn’t even cool the living room much less the bedroom. No central air in the whole joint. It is the muggiest place and it is so dimly lit I couldn’t read anything on the vending machines. I wanted water so I had to go to ATM in the lobby and when I put my money in all the drinks were sold out so I got a bunch of quarters I didn’t need. The owners appear to be surprised that I’m saying anything about it as if it’s the first time I’ve heard it, which I don’t deem remotely possible. The promoter for my band gig bought the rooms so I will have to probably go somewhere else and pay out-of-pocket because I’m not gonna spend the night in this hellhole.

Surprisingly Good Although our rooms were facing the highway, we did not hear any noise. The location was good. Rooms were large with plenty of lighting. You might have to wait a bit for hot water if you are located on the upper floors. Room was clean, Towels were bright white. TV had lots of channels to watch. Breakfast was good and nicely arranged. I had to ask the clerk to change the TV to English as weather and news was in Spanish. The only down fall with this property is that you have to leave a warm building go outside exposed to the elements to reach the breakfast room and lobby. It would be helpful if they would cover the walkway to give some shelter from rain and snow.

Not too bad It's kind of a letdown when you're expecting top-notch hotel and it doesn't meet your expectations. Cleanliness is crucial, especially in a supposed 5-star establishment. Like, a 5-star hotel should nail those basics, right? A 3/5 is generous given the fact that I found strands of hair in my shower cabin.

Pleasantly Surprised The place is dated, but you don't even notice as it is well kept and clean. The staff is very friendly and hard-working. The lobby is warm and welcoming with a full breakfast with great variety. Pleasantly surprised by warm cookies and cocoa in the afternoon and Friday night -hot soup provided in the lobby.
