Fantastic for the price I had never heard of a spark hotel by Hilton nor had I ever seen one, but the price was so outstanding. We decided to try this one. The staff are beyond phenomenal, friendly, helpful, constantly. Checking to make sure everything's okay. I can't speak more highly of their staff. You do give up certain amenities like there's no laundry on site however, you really cannot beat the price. The rooms are clean and comfortable and safe. Area is a little bit squiffy but like I said for the price you just can't beat it!

Will not use this hotel again I would rate the stay a 7 of 10. starting with check in, with a 3 day stay. our keys only worked 1 day. The person at the check-in desk stated the he saw a problem but would fix it, didnt work ! When we went down for help we were treated like it was our fault. I took 1/2 hour to get new keys. No carts were available at check in.

Below my expectations I have been to this hotel when it was another chain. Positives: It's been updated and the rooms are clean. It's in a central location close to Hwy. 99. Convenient to freeway, gas stations, and fast food. Negatives: The water fountain dispensed room temperature water. There was a desk but not a desk chair in the room. I had to use an ottoman to sit on to work. Don't reserve room 116. It's right next to the check-in desk and you'll hear everyone's conversations when they check in. The breakfast was substandard. No hot food (not mentioned on the site that I looked at) and the store bought muffins tasted artificial.

Undergoing a brand change Another reviewer hit it on the head - unexpectantly depressing. On arrival we immediately noticed the exterior colors did not match what we have come to expect from Hampton Inns. Lots of shipping containers in the front parking greatly diminished the available parking spaces. Upon entering, the lobby and elevator areas are full of large furniture boxes. They are remodeling and will soon be a "Spark" by Hilton. Only two Handicap parking spaces (which we need) and they were both full, so I drove to the back lot. Not one car back there, but lots of broken car window glass and garbage on the ground. They do have a "security" guard, but all the debris in the lot doesn't speak well for the problem. Luckily we were able to find a spot in front near the street. The two young ladies we spoke with at the front desk were friendly and helpful, but overall, the location was uncomfortable.

Unexpectedly Depressing Arriving to the hotel the front parking lot is taken up by storage containers. There was plenty of space towards the back of the hotel parking lot for these but they chose to place them I the front where guests would have preferred to park. The gas station Sharing the parking lot is frequented by homeless peiple and vagrants. The lobby is dark and in need of an update with furniture and lighting. One of two elevator doors would not shut when boarding from the fourth floor. The rooms are okay, towels are clean beds are still firm. Although I did get bitten by something on my 3rd night there. Toilet paper is more like sand paper. The desk chair in my room was broken as it would support me if I leaned back, almost fell over. Windows are not insulated enough to keep street traffic noise out. Refrigerator noise was deafening so much so I had to wear my noise canceling headphones. I eventually had to unplug it in order to get sleep. Breakfast is typical for a free hotel meal. I travel a minimum of 120 nights a year for work so my experience with hotels is pretty good. Wish this site would allow video uploads so I could share the noise levels.
