Primrose is Plentiful The Primrose Inn was quite charming. It is located on a beautiful street and a short walk to the center of town. The grounds are beautifully manicured with colorful flowers. We stayed in room 8 which is on the main level hence we had a walk out to a lovely outdoor seating area. The best part was the staff! Brandon and his team were fantastic. The table next to me was inquiring about fat free milk. Brandon offered to go out and get this for the guest… impressive. Also a shout out to Kristiana as she was extremely helpful on so many levels . In addition a lovely breakfast was served daily.

An Excellent Stay at the Primrose We had a great time during our three-night stay at the Primrose. It is close to The Village Green, Main Street, Cottage Street, and West Street, near shops, galleries, restaurants, and the Shore Path, and not far from where we picked up our bus tour of Acadia National Park. Brandon and the staff were excellent, the breakfasts were great, and abundant sweet treats were available every day. We highly recommend staying at the Primrose if you are going to Bar Harbor.

Best part of our trip to Maine!! Our visit to Bar Harbor at The Primrose was amazing!! It is so beautiful and the room was well equiped- even a fire place and jettet tub!! Special soaps- Anna was amazing with great dinner options! 10 minute walk to town- close to everything! AMAZING Breakfast every day- nice tea in the afternoon. Comfy beds, pillows- very clean- homey and relaxed. We stayed four nights and wished it could have been longer. I will recommend to all my friends heading to Maine!

Primrose Inn - a real jewel!! The Primrose appears like a storybook Inn you read about in an Olde English novel. Painted in delightfully intriguing colors, Primrose is surrounded by flower gardens and wraparound porches which invited us to sit in a rocking chair to laugh and review highlights of our day. Small tables on the porches are meant for morning coffee time and watching hummingbirds flit among flowers. The Inn is very pleasant and inviting - beautiful colors and decor! Primrose Inn's staff - WONDERFUL! Brandon (true measure of a great Inn keeper) had answers for all travel questions, suggestions for different venues and obviously a master organizer because this place runs like a top! His staff included Reckel -the amazing chef who created fabulous breakfast items, afternoon tea & deserts. Reckel's homemade sweets invited us sit & enjoy the Inn after a busy sightseeing day. Ana & Chrissa welcomed us downstairs each morning with smiles and food service in the breakfast room. Anna, Evander, & Kristiyana were there assisting with everything we needed. Billy, the guy with smiling eyes, lit up as he shared information about Bar Harbor area and served as our very efficient room valet. Definitely a special place to spend some time. GO!!!
