Overall good stay, hot tub not working though Hotel and rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and food was good for the location! Hot tub was out of order, which was very disappointing as it was one of the main amenities we wanted to use and why we chose this location. (Please keep your hotel details up to date online so guests can make informed decisions before booking) Otherwise it was a good stay!

Disappointing customer service Very disappointed. I am normally a big Hilton fan - this is the first year in a long time I'm not a diamond status on my HH. However, we arrive on Wednesday to find out that the key system isn't working. Annoying, to say the least. But it happens. If that was the only thing I'd be totally over it. They had to walk us to our rooms for the first 24 hours of our stay to let us in, or we could choose to stick something in the door to leave it unlocked. Then, we ask about the breakfast being included with HH because other families we were with (for softball tournament) had received breakfast vouchers but we were told no. Only for out of country people? Weird. Then, lastly, the girls end up out of the tournament early so we ask to leave a day early and are FOUR MINUTES PAST the deadline and told no. Just not thrilled. Maybe a 1 is harsh, but I expect more being a HH member.

OK rooms, nice staff, marginal breakfast, limited resturant service -- just average Though the ratings for this property are generally good and my past stays at Hilton Garden Inns have been good to excellent, this property fell a bit short of expectations. On the plus side, most of the staff were very nice, especially the evening hostess at the bar (I believe her name was Sue), and our room on the front side of the hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. On the downside, however, rooms and hallways were dated and a bit worn, there was no food and beverage service Sunday night (not sure if that's every Sunday or just when we were there), the breakfast was a serve-yourself set up with selections that were more limited than you'd find at many Hampton Inns, and there was no table service at all. The only staff person who came close to our table at breakfast was someone cleaning the table next to us, with his backside against our table. The evening meals and service were, however, good. In short, not a bad place at all, but some improvements are needed to match my usual Hilton Garden Inn experience.

Shuttle service was horrible This review is not really for the hotel itself, but more for the shuttle service and the communication (or lack thereof) with the hotel and driver(s). The shuttle service at the Hilton Garden Inn (Mall of America) was horrible for pick-ups. Both at the Mall of America and at the Airport. We called for a shuttle, they said 15 minutes and it was over an hour wait in the freezing cold. We got back to the hotel and there were 2 shuttles sitting idle. Called the front desk several times, even had them hang up on us once. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Way over-priced, Extra $$ for continental breakfast, lousy shuttle service.

Terrible Service I am very loyal to this brand, and want to continue to believe that they uphold a high standard in customer care, but this location proved me wrong. As a diamond member, you would think they would at least give you some sort of perk, but they did not. They barely even wanted to give me breakfast. I repeated my questions and the guy at the front desk on 10/15/23 at around 8am kept saying no to everybting I said lol. For the hotel to have signs around saying “Our goal is to make your stay better and brighter. If something isn't just the way you like it, simply let any hotel team member know, and we will make it right. Guaranteed.” This was not the case, the guy that “helped” didn’t say a thing about complementary breakfast for being a diamond member, I had to tell him and show him my app for him to honor it… and just gave me 1 vs 2 for the friend that was with me- in addition to this, I asked him what the point of being a diamond member was if no perks were being provided, he proceeded to shrug his shoulders and act like he didn’t really care. I do not recommend this hotel. I really hope they get staff that wants to actually be nice and work here. Unbelievable experience for a Hilton Hotel :/
