Highly recommended A lot of our family stayed here for a wedding. It was a pleasant surprise as not only were the rooms clean and beds comfortable (reasonably firm not mushy) but the staff was efficient and beyond friendly!! They speak when you walk by the desk if not busy, ask you if you need anything.

Nice place and clean. No maintenace readily available. Problem with the room air conditioning that ran constantly causing the room to be too cold. At first staff told us there were no other rooms so a maintenance man would come at 11 Pm to look at the unit. Well we got a call while sleeping saying they had a room so we moved. Staff was friendly but not overly concerned.

NOT A TOP RATE HAMPTON INN After trying this location for the first time on a regular route between our home in Nashville and Gulf Shores Alabama, this will not be our regular stop! It was a little pricey which is fine if you get what you pay for. And we paid an additional $75 to bring our small dog. The room was small but comfortable except the bed was directly across from the heat/ac unit and air is blowing on you directly if the unit is in use. Not a big deal, but we were traveling on Saturday night and before 8:00 housekeeping was running a loud vacuum cleaner in the hall directly outside our door. Almost seemed like she was pushing us to be out of the room already. The microwave in the room didn't work, and the coffee from the coffee bar was cold. Had to take coffee back to the food area to use their microwave. We reported the broken nicrowave and also that housekeeping had been very noisy pretty early on that Sunday morning, but the front desk employee didn't respond to either, even note the microwave needed to be replaced. Just a very curt "sorry". The housekeeping staff we encountered in the hall was either nice and smiling or completely surly. The check in front desk crew was nice, but as noted, the check out front desk had no custsomer appeal at all. We won't be there again.

Overnight stay Cannot say enough positive things about this stay! The hotel is very clean, the area is rural and quiet. There is a Wal Mart next door and several restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and had many options. Staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. Pets are welcome with a fee. We randomly chose this hotel to stay overnight en route to Dauphin Island and it was a phenomenal choice! Will be remembering this area for the future if we need a stopover again.
