Wonderful Hotel! I have stayed at this hotel with my large groups for many years and have always received great service. Great location, very clean, nice breakfast and great staff. I will definitely return, as this is our go to place for Washington D.C. sightseeing.

Boys trip Rooms could use some updating and some other repairs amongst hotel nice and clean outdoor pool Preston at the desk was awesome he moved out rooms because the one room wasn’t cooling . And then there is Ms Theresa she is beyond amazing Saturday she told me there would be biscuits and gravy on Sunday and they were great plus she got Apple juice because she knew I only liked Apple juice we need more people like her.

Not Funny! The hotel is very outdated. Our room appeared clean ( bathroom & beds), but the carpet was absolutely disgusting. It needed to be replaced years ago. I didn’t want to put anything on the floor, so I opted to put in on the desk chair. Well, it was just as disgusting and worn. Moving on and not dwelling on that as it wasn’t the biggest issue. The most disturbing part was that our son and daughter checked-in about an hour before us. Someone else was given a key to the same room and walked into their room. WHAT IN THE WORLD??? As I was checking in the other lady was at the desk getting another room. The desk clerks thought it was funny. I on the other hand was not amused at all that someone else was given the same room. It was very unprofessional and I realize it was a mistake, but it in no way was funny. Needless to say, I didn’t get much sleep for worrying someone was coming into my room or into the room with my kids all night!

Washington DC group adventure Best hotel in the DC area! Attentive front desk & staff, great breakfast, relaxing outdoor pool, and great space for our group. Close to downtown & located in a nice, safe area. Convenient gas station located down the road. Will be back again & highly recommended. A+++

Previous ratings had me scared, but the team running this hotel is FABULOUS! I was worried about this trip. I have to be honest. A work colleague randomly picked this hotel asthere were no other hotels open around because DC is being overtaken by school aged children on their annual school trips!!! Anyways, I kept looking at the reviews and seeing the pictures and was really quite dreading it. But here's the real deal. This hotel isn't fancy. It's not new. It's frayed around the edges. It has a minimalist type gym..BUT THE TEAM RUNNING IT...WELL, THEY ARE AMAZING! I had a special request (I have asthma and I can't use feather pillows). They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and I had what i needed. People at the front desk were kind and considerate. The breakfast hosts were nice. The maintenance guy that helps out around the hotel was wonderful. Would I stay here again? Well, if the same situation repeated itself and I couldn't get into my normal hotel in Alexandria, yes, I would stay here. But you'll be okay...just be patient.
