Worst Experience Ever This is one of the worst hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had, and we've traveled throughout the world. We stayed here one night in July in a questionable room at best. We intended to stay again in September only because there were so few rooms available in town due to it being parents' weekend at my son's college. My wife asked the desk personnel about making reservations and they directed us to Expedia, which we never use. They said it was the only way to make reservations. Being unfamiliar with the app and pressed for time, she made the reservation. Several weeks before our stay, my son was notified (he is in the military and a full-time student) that he had drill the weekend of our reservations. We called to cancel and were immediately notified that there were no refunds. We explained that we had no choice and that the hotel personnel told us to book using a second party app. They hung up on us. We called Expedia, who were very helpful and who called the hotel to discuss the refund with them. The hotel personnel hung up on them. I have called the corporate office no fewer than three times and each time I have been told they would call back. They have yet to return our call. So, don't stay here. The personnel are rude. They service is awful. The food is terrible and the rooms are dirty. They have no sympathy for military families and seem to go out of there way to make things difficult. Go somewhere else. --Jim S., Maine

outrageous price for an unsafe and dirty hotel!! Do Not stay at this hotel!! When my husband and I arrived, we were gouged with a price of $500/night because it was only room available in several hour radius. The bed comforter had blood on it. The place was so dirty, including the carpet. No Kleenex or shower wash, dispensers were empty. We were on 3rd floor and elevator shook badly between 2nd and 3rd floors and made loud sounds. It did not feel safe and did not operate properly. The shower had no water pressure. There were people hanging around the hotel and it did not feel safe. Anyone had access to elevator through unlocked side exterior door. Breakfast was also the worst on our trip!

In need of renovation This hotel has some challenges - let me start with it was very pricey and didn’t come close to providing the level of service and amenities required for that price point. The hotel is tired, needs a lot of paint repair, floor repair and overall updating. It’s not the cleanest - when I checked into my room there were open bottles of water in the fridge and a freezer that was enveloped in ice. The King Size bed had three small pillows on it - can that work sure but it’s cheap! Comfortable but significantly overpriced. Maid service was good, but the room quality was not. The soap dispensers were barely functioning, the television choices were small and uninviting. Breakfast was well not great - the three hot items were in a so-called buffet pan but were always cold. Waffles were available which you could make and those were hot. There were gluten free options but little/no sugar free options. The juice machine had a post it note on it to label it as apple juice - really? Don’t you have a printer? Breakfast didn’t start daily til 7pm and it usually was late - not ideal for folks who have to leave early. I went to check in - I said good afternoon I have a reservation for XX and the clerk said- you’re checking out? (Don’t remember ever needing a reservation to check out). I was early - about three hours prior to check -in - I know that early checkins are not always possible and completely understand if they aren’t. That said, the hotel was practically empty. I challenged this and was told if my room was ready they could make it happen- they did. I came to the desk on my third day and asked about printing a document - the website clearly lists a business center as an amenity. The desk clerks were like I don’t know - and when I asked about the business center, they said in unison, “We’re renovating”. So I understand but doesn’t common sense tell you they likely have a printer in their office and for rooms at $300+ a night they could print a document? On my fifth day, they were apparently doing maintenance on the room next door and they proceeded to bang on the walls for nearly an hour - banged so hard the tv and iron on the wall shook. I get it you have to do maintenance - but maybe letting folks in the room nearby in on that little gem? I looked at a serious of reviews for the hotel - the management is quick to respond - however nothing seems to change. A response is only wanted/desired if it results in real change and frankly that ain’t happening at this hotel. If you have other options - take them.
