True gems work here This was a convenient place to stay while spending three days working at the various universities in Colorado Springs. The location -- right off the freeway -- was a great jumping off point for activities, downtown, and campus. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I loved that I could have my dog with me. My only complaint is that my TV remote didn't work, even after replacing the batteries, but I was fine with getting up and pressing the buttons on the TV itself. The breakfast was decent, about what you'd expect for a 2-star hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the general manager is a true gem. I needed to be in meetings until 4pm on my day of checkout, and I didn't want to leave my bikes locked to my car's bike rack, nor could I leave my dog in my hot car for a few hours in the afternoon. Jen offered to store my bikes in the back and let my dog hang out with her in her office, which was so unbelievably kind and made my day a million times easier. Thank you, Jen!!

Still nice. Helpful people work here. All Quality Inns are not created equal. This location was a cared for exception. I believe it was a former Best Western. The property is large and well cared for. We knew we would be arriving quite late, so I called ahead to notify the front desk. Reggie was helpful and made a note. At 10pm when we did arrive, everything was ready. Reservations are a must. There was a full house that night. The room was comfortable. The next morning, there was a complete hot breakfast, eggs, sausage, pancakes in the very large dining area, or on the shaded patio. Parking surrounds the hotel, and it's adequate even with tour busses. We would stay here again if the need arose. This time, we had a room next to the guest laundry. Someone was using it from late afternoon to late evening. It was rather loud. I also noticed that while there was plenty of hot water in the shower, the water pressure there and in the commode was low.

Destination stop on our trip west Stayed for 3 days for a family wedding. Hotel staff was unusually pleasant, facilities very clean and spacious. The hot breakfast was very well prepared and staff was attentive. The location was convenient in many ways. To the freeway exit and many attractions such as Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods and many more.

Cat lovers (or haters), read this review! Read this one all the way through. You won't believe it! My wife and I checked in 9-10 P.M. after an exhausting day of traveling. Check in experience was wonderful with Jessica at the front desk being extremely friendly and professional. We stayed for one night and the room was acceptable for the price we paid. We planned to stay only one night but the next day's events warranted two more nights. We checked in for two more nights the following evening and a different front desk clerk was also friendly. We went to the room and got cozy for the evening. My wife fell asleep and I stayed up to wind down with a bit of television. Around 11 P.M. I hear a "meow" and I thought it might be from the television show I was watching but then another "meow" came from the other side of the room. I got up and turned all the lights on but couldn't find the source, until I went towards the bathroom. I could see some black fur sticking out from under the door. I opened the door up a bit more and a cat ran wild and fast as lightning back into the main part of the room. I couldn't find it so got on my hands and knees to look in the "dark" spots like under the bed. The bed sat on a platform so there was no access but I did see there was some of the mattress liner on the overhang that appeared to have been torn or ripped. I suspect the cat was under the very mattress that we were laying in. A quick trip to the front desk which was in a separate building, resulted in us getting an "upgraded" room but after hauling all our supplies (two suitcases, cooler, misc bags etc), we found the room's ac/heater was non-functional. Back to the front desk where we were granted another room requiring us to haul all our belongings once again. Long story short, this was a very unsettling experience especially after having to pass three very high gentlemen sitting on the picnic table between our building and the building that the front desk was in. I nearly got buzzed just walking past them as the spell of pot was so strong and pungent. Incidentally, the pot smell was evident each night we stayed. Breakfast was decent, though, and kudos to Jessica as her professionalism was on a level suitable for a hotel with higher standards. Upon our departure on the third night, we were informed the black cat with green eyes had been found and removed from the room. I didn't ask any further questions.

Great location, clean, and friendly staff Wonderful service, clean hotel, nice staff, and a great price. Perfect location if you want to be by all of the attractions and sights. Great place to stay that won’t kill your wallet and you do not have to worry about cleanliness. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Colorado Springs.
