Nice Pet Friendly Hotel Nice hotel that is clean. There is a cute indoor pool area with a nice outdoor patio with chairs to lay on. The bed, bedding, and pillows were very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and was modern. The staff was helpful, kind, and caring! Thank you for being pet friendly!

If Walmart was a hotel… Stayed here for family weekend at GVSU, probably why the jacked up rate for this dump was $147/night. Anyone who has reviewed this hotel and said it was “nice” has obviously never stayed in a quality hotel. The whole property is rundown, outdated and generally gross. Dirty carpet, disgusting bathrooms and I’ve seen a better breakfast spread at a homeless shelter. The TV in our room was smaller than the backup camera on my truck and the hotel is just down the street from a landfill, how ironic….

Room for Improvement This hotel has potential, but is NOT worth $95+/night. Check in was terrible trying to charge me a higher rate when I had a confirmed reservation. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, pilling and dog hair on the sheets (I don’t have pets). The pillows were thin and very uncomfortable. It’s great that the hotel is smoke free inside, but guests smoke directly by the hotel entrances. Not a fan of breathing that in. Overall the hotel is tolerable for one night, but this place needs improvement.

Met expectations for the price Only hotel in town and the price was very reasonable. Standard fare breakfast of dry cereal, waffle mix, juice, bagels and toast. The place was clean, but my room was a little dated, the safety chain on the door was broken and found a couple of water bugs in the room.

Horrible experience Checked into room and had a fishy odor. Checked the beds and come to find out there was blood on the sheets in both beds as well as wobbly desk and a not functioning fridge. Got another room and the lights didn’t work and the ac doesn’t work well. The vents are also very dust. All in all don’t come here unless you really need too. Oh and the neighbors smelled strong of marijuana.
