Picnic Pleasure We enjoyed our stay at this Holiday Inn on the Dan River. HIE is one of our "go-to" hotels when traveling. One of the highlights here was our picnic by the river on their nice outdoor deck. Our stay was exceptional. The room was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was very good. Will definitely stay again if we need a hotel in this area.

Will come here again! Great visit- traveling (towards VA Blue Ridge parkway and MD) and stopped at this pretty spot along the river. New, beautifully clean, very friendly and professional staff, we will plan on stopping here again as we often travel between MD and Atlanta. (Excellent breakfast too!)

Nice Quiet Stay Hotel was very clean and really quiet. Comfortable beds. Biggest thing we liked was there were no cleaning chemical smells in the room. Nice size room and we had with a view of the Dan River outside the window. Quick and friendly check in and out. Very good breakfast, love their sausage gravy and biscuits. Only a couple miles from the casino. Definitely recommend staying here.

Clean, convenient, friendly I stayed here for a track weekend at nearby VIR. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and was plentiful, hot, and tasty. The staff from check-in to checkout were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel with great walking trail Stayed here for business in October. The hotel was very clean and staff was excellent. Breakfast options were great and eating area was never busy. What I liked best about this hotel versus others we looked at was the trail right behind the hotel along the river. I like to walk and loved it, you can travel in either direction and the landscape is very nice, even saw a few beavers. The only downside was the bed was too soft and i sank into the middle (I am a small person) - might be good for some but not for me.
