We stumbled on this hotel a year or two ago and keep coming back. My kids live near the Denver Tech Center so I’ve been hunting hotels here for a number of years. As you know, a hotel chain doesn’t guarantee that the place will be nice. You will find that if you make a reservation far enough in advance the prices are very competitive which is not true of all the Hampton Inns. We always choose the room that has the bedroom and kitchen as the space is nice for longer stays. We like the outdoor pool, a chance to catch a little sun. The breakfast area is the usual stuff, but they do change the flavors daily on the waffle maker. The eating area is spacious and well laid out so it’s not crowded. FYI, there is a Panera Bread Restaurant right across the parking lot. If you are traveling with your dog you will be put on the first floor, a great dog space out back complete with a little walking path and rabbits. The manager asked us twice in four days how are stay was. There is only one complaint; there is definitely a shortage of garbage receptacles and they’re too small in the room. The location is nice especially in back and it’s very convenient. It’s not fancy, but reasonable and convenient.

Staff makes this place great !! My entire experience was pleasurable! I had to make some changes to my reservation and the staff was just fabulous. I would like to recognize the day manager Deziree for her fabulous assistance. Additionally Roxanna and the young man on the night shift were all great. Housekeeping was great as well. Great attitudes from every staff member !!

Standard Hampton Inn, above average people We stay in Hilton properties a lot, mostly because we've come to know what to expect. This Hampton Inn was no different. It's a nice property, the rooms were clean and spacious. I did have an issue the first 2 nights - I was able to hear the person above me stomping around like an elephant. So, maybe choose a top floor room if available. Breakfast had the standard options. The gym was great, and had a peloton. I chose this hotel for it's proximity to the interstate. Super convenient. The highlight of my stay was the person who checked me in (I don't remember his name, maybe Harry? It was a Thursday evening). He went above and beyond to help me with something, and it was greatly appreciated.

Did not live up to other reviews We had high hopes based on recent reviews that this property would exceed our recent experiences at some of the other Hilton properties in the Cherry Creek and DTC areas. However, we were let down once again. Yes, the hotel appears to have been fairly recently renovated, however our room was already worn and not very clean. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken and consequently the room felt damp and smelled stale with mildew and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom already. Because of being located at an inside corner the room was also dark and the poor lighting would have made it difficult for us to work. The room was next to a mechanical room that was also quite loud. The worst factor was the nearly always present smell of marijuana in the corridors which would occasionally drift into our room. While this unfortunately is not uncommon in Colorado hotels it seemed particularly bad at this hotel over the Labor Day weekend. We ended up cutting our stay short and moving to another nearby property. On the positive side the hotel has a fairly well equipped exercise room that includes a Peloton bike and nice selection of free weights and kettle bells.
