Ask for Arie when you check in. The best thing going for Double Tree by Hilton at Denver Cherry Creek is not the warm chocolate chip walnut cookies; but it is the front desk. The front desk people are the face of Double Tree and I wanted to mentioned that Arie is the best. She is a problem solver and was able to get me into a room were there was a mix up earlier. I am so glad she was on duty and caught the problem.

Great Customer Care! Arie is one of the best ambassadors of a brand I've met in a long time! I travel regularly, have interacted with many courteous people-- and Arie is a STAND OUT!!! The property is clean, room well-kept, on-site parking convenient. Recommend this hotel.

Housekeeping concern The house keeping was delayed. We had to repeatedly ask for them to come and clean the room. Food was good. Cleaning the room was a big concern. It is a bit out of the way. A couple of the people at the front desk were helpful and some had major attitude

Bad check in experience We had a really disappointing experience at check-in and had to wait over an hour past check in time for our room to be ready. To find out that the system showed we were trying to check into a room that someone was already in and our room had been ready all along. The room itself was very nice but we were so frustrated by the experience.

Nice Pool, terrible Room Service The room, lobby and breakfast area and offering were fine, but there was one highlight and one very poor experience. The highlight was the pool and pool area. Gets crowded in the day but the morning swim is great - no one there and a very cool temperature, which is a plus. I wanted room service one evening as I had to work in my room - looked at the menu online and thought I would call down for an order. Pressed the room service button on the room phone and no answer even after trying 6 times. Tried to call the front desk - they never picked up. So I reluctantly went down stairs to the restaurant/bar area and caught the attention of the one server who did not seem to know how room service worked (he was new, apparently - obviously no training on room service!). A second employee came over and said they would take an order with a 20% surcharge for room service. No acknowledgment that I had to come down to order. Went to the front desk to inform them of this issue whereupon the front desk member said that the phone buttons for room service in the room do not operate anymore and you have to get the QR code in the room and then order online. I explained that there needs to be some information in the room to tell the guest that is the new system. He agreed and said it has happened before and he would send the message to whoever. Clearly they had not taken action prior based on other guests complaints. This story is not over - back in my room the food is delivered. The staff member hands me a plastic bag (no tray or cutlery as usual for room service) He was away and I find my food in a take away plastic container with a bottle of beer. No glass for the beer and there is no bottle opener in the room. This was not a screw cap beer bottle. I called the front desk and after 3 tries someone actually answered - the same fellow I had taken to earlier and he just said the the restaurant was under separate management and he would transfer me over there. Yes, you guessed it - no one ever picked up. I gave up and used my hand and a desk edge to remove the bottle top. Not good.
