Last Stay We recently stayed for one night in Room 219. Highly disappointing. Our room wasn't ready at check in, we had to wait 15 minutes and when we got in the smell of air freshener was so heavy we had to open the windows. It was a humid day so it was a bit uncomfortable. The vending machine was unstocked and ripped me off . The A/C was extremely noisy and wasn't working properly. Small pillows on a King size bed. For the $296 rate the room was run down. Mangled lamp shade, noticeable stains on the sofa and a crappy yellowed putty job in an obviously once broken sink. There was a whirlpool tub in the room that had soap residue in it and the light above it looked like it was melted so we did not use it. The lobby smelled damp from the pool area and the breakfast was pitiful. Besides the unseasoned egg beaters and small yogurt there was no other protein choice. It was hot and stuffy in the tiny room also. We will not book with this hotel again. The value just wasn't there.

First time here. Hotel easy to find, easy parking and short walk from parking lot. Real close to East Troy and plenty of restaurants and pubs . The pool area was clean, except a lot of dirt on bottom of hot tub. Our room was very spacious with 2 TVs but channels we eliminated from what the room book had printed. The divided bedroom room from a living room was very nice with a closable door. Built in ac/ heater in wall so no noisy window unit. The room was nicely remodeled with a modern feel. The bathroom was clean, the shower floor was very very slippery. Some cosmetic issues in bathroom, The continental breakfast was very limited but served it’s purpose. Over all we were very happy staying at this hotel and would return in the future.

room for improvement Stayed here to be near the dinner train. If you didn't know it was there you would never be able to find it. There is no sign to direct you from the road. If it weren't for google I don't think we would have found it. Front desk was not behind plexi-glass and staff did not wear masks or gloves. Our room was gigantic and could have used more furniture. Couch did not face TV. Bathroom was huge, was sizable enough for the handicapped, yet had no grab bars or other accessibility aides. So it didn't make much sense. There was no vanity to put your toiletries on, like the main room a lot of wasted space. We had a whirlpool in the room which worked well, but was VERY slippery and difficult to get out of, again no grab bar. Water was so soft I had to get in shower to rinse soap off after bathing. Upon arrival TV did not work. Discovered cable unhooked, don't know how that happened. Mattress and pillows were comfy. People in room above us were stomping their feet so loudly it sounded like the ceiling was going to fall in on us both late at night and early in the morning. People in room next to us were playing VERY loud old time country music at 7:30. I seriously do not understand how others lack any common sense or manners. Oddly, this is the first hotel I have stayed at that had 2 bolts on the door and bolt on the connecting door. Made me wonder if I was in a safe location. Only hot breakfast option was waffles. Really pathetic compared to other hotels in this chain. Fortunately, there is a McDonald at the next exit, it is a rural area without much selection. Wouldn't recommend.

Bring Your Own Coffee The room was large but very depressing due to the low wattage light bulbs they use. It made us feel like we were in a dungeon. Also, DON'T drink the coffee. The free coffee in lobby and in the morning breakfast room is so weak it's like drinking water.
