Lady at La Quinta helped us with reservation at another hotel We didn't stay here, BUT... it was nearly midnight, decent hotels along our route had been (unexpectedly to us) booked up, so we simply exited the highway at Elkhart. My husband called La Quinta from the parking lot. They didn't have a vacancy, but the nice lady spent some time checking their other properties and booked us in at the Microtel. A big relief.

Room was disgusting Don’t stay here. The room was filthy. Furniture is old and tore up, should be thrown out. Walls were filthy, shower was mildewed.

Humidity about 100% If you are a clean freak, or even like a nice clean hotel, this is not the place for you. Humidity levels indoors made it very uncomfortable and smelly.

Horrible Total cost of 2 rooms for 2 nights had to be paid in full at Checkin with no prior notice. Checkin took over 1/2 hour. Toilet backed up less than an hour after entering the room. Refrigerator did not get cold. Only one ice machine in the entire hotel and it didn’t work. Phones did not work.

Good stop in Elkhart Would use this property again. Great pet policy. Thank you for that benefit. Good location with several restaurants very close.
